Who doesn’t dream of a private island wedding, where the world is left behind and all there is to do in the world is celebrate and relax with your closest friends and family?
So, Picture this: You, your beloved, and your closest friends and family on a secluded island. You’re handed fresh coconut drinks as soon as you step off the boat, settled into ornate wishbone chairs or plush, lounge seating where local, Hawaiian music is serenading you as you eagerly await what’s to come.
Well, that’s exactly what we planned for Stacy & John when we planned their ceremony on Secret Island, Kualoa Ranch, an idyllic location that, despite technically being a peninsula, exudes the exclusive feel of a private island. Hailing from Orange County, California, the couple, accustomed to stunning landscapes, desired a venue that stood out and Hawai’i absolutely delivered.
The afternoon began for Stacy & John’s guests with a private boat ride from the dock to the Secret Island, where they were greeted with locally sourced coconuts and the tunes of island jams. With refreshing drinks in hand, guests lounged on plush seating provided by Aloha Artisans, taking in the surroundings while eagerly anticipating the arrival of the bride and groom.
It’s worth noting as Stacy made her way down the aisle there wasn’t a dry eye or a held breath in the crowd. The hushed silence spoke volumes about Stacy’s radiant presence, and John’s composed expression transformed into one of pure awe as he locked eyes with his bride.
Post-ceremony, Ariel from Theel Wedding Productions spirited the couple away to capture moments of pure magic, as showcased above, and we bid farewell to the newlyweds with a heartfelt ‘a hui hou.
The rest? With a start like this definitely happily ever after.
