For Laura & Adam, their welcome party drew inspiration from Pele, the Hawaiian goddess of fire and volcanoes. Guests experienced a grounding ceremony followed by a weekend celebration rich in cultural respect. Every detail, from locally sourced linens to Hawaii-based vendors, reflected the couple’s admiration for Hawaii’s natural beauty and traditions.

Strength & Fluidity: The Rehearsal Dinner

The rehearsal dinner embraced the Pacific Ocean’s power and featured bold designs inspired by the humuhumunukunukuāpuaʻa (reef triggerfish). Tables showcased lively patterns and coral reef-inspired florals, while guests enjoyed an evening under the stars on Kona Village’s black sand beach.

The final culmination of the celebration naturally had to honor the air, drawing inspiration from the breathtaking Kailua-Kona skies. The wedding ceremony beautifully reflected the splendor of a Kona sunrise, with warm hues of pinks, purples, reds, and oranges that mirrored the early hours of the day. As the evening unfolded, guests were visually and emotionally transported to a radiant Kona sunset, its vivid colors captured in both the sky and the design elements surrounding them.
